Meeting: Arizona Ghostbusters Lead Phoenix Zombie Walk 10/29/2011
Legions of undead will converge in Downtown Phoenix for Zombie Walk 3 as part of a full cauldron of Halloween fun Saturday, October 29. The Downtown Phoenix Partnership and X103.9 present an afternoon and evening gathering with something for the entire family - from tiny ghouls on up to freakish adult Zombies.
More than 2,000 walking dead showed up for the main event last year - the Zombie Walk. This year, for a donation of canned goods to St. Mary's Food Bank, all sorts can take part in the frightening stroll of the undead throughout Downtown scaring any and all who dare to unknowingly enjoy a peaceful urban night out. What they'll find is that the real entertainment will be streetside when families, decked out in scary or other Halloween fare, show their true and often bloody colors. For additional donations of canned goods, wanna-be Zombies can have their make-up done on site.

Meeting: Arizona Ghostbusters - Ghostbusters Night At Bookmans Recap
Arizona Ghostbusters and Bookmans Phoenix teamed up on Saturday October 8th, 2011 to host a Ghostbusters themed night in the store. Kids worked on making Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men out of real marshmallows, coloring sheets, and ghost pops. Pin the proton stream on the ghost, ghost bean bag toss, and trivia was played for prizes including gift certificates. A raffle for $50.00 gift cards in the store was also held. Bookmans made a $100.00 donation towards the Multiple Sclerosis Walk in November bringing our total collected so far to $700.00

The Arizona Ghostbusters: Firehouse 520 made their 2nd apperance in the annual Rex Allen Days Parade in Willcox, AZ on October 1st, 2011 along with their Ecto-AZ Truck with blow-up Stay-Puft in the back.
Step Out To Fight Diabetes Walk Glendale, AZ 10/1/2011
The Arizona Ghostbusters participated in the annual Step Out To Fight Diabetes Walk in Glendale, AZ on Saturday October 1st, 2011. The walk was 3 miles around Midwestern University and the surrounding neighborhood.

The Arizona Ghostbusters: Firehouse 520 participated in the Step Out To Fight Diabetes Walk in Tucson, AZ on Sunday October 2nd, 2011. After the walk was over the Ecto-AZ Truck was taken out on the horse track the walk was held on for a few laps.

Glendale 9 Drive-In Customer Appreciation Night & Diabetes Walk Fundraiser 9/22/2011The Glendale 9 Drive-In hosted their annual customer appreciation night on Thursday September 22nd, 2011. Members from the Arizona Corsairs pirate costuming group, movie car replicas from Willitmakeit.com and Starcars.com, and the Arizona Ghostbusters appeared at the event. Admission was free for the public. The Arizona Ghostbusters set up a raffle booth to collect funds for the American Diabetes Walk on October 1st.

St. Mary's Food Bank Rock N'Box 80's Night 9/27/2011The Arizona Ghostbusters stopped by St.Mary's Food Bank Rock N' Box 80's Night on Tuesday September 27th. 2011. 80's Music was played while volunteers boxed up a new record of 96 pallets of food to be given out to needy families throughout the valley. After the team rolled the Ecto into the warehouse the team jumped in to help pack up the food.

The new forums will be a great place to discuss propping, upcoming LAGB events, planning, all things Ghostbusters, philanthropy, awesomeness in general, and of course practical application of bacon in the modern workplace.
Unfortunately, folks signed up to the old forums will need to set themselves up to use the newer forums with the usual registration process you've seen on many other similar forums. This will allow you to use the new forums regularly if you'd like, subscribe to topics, display your general wackiness, and even put mobile apps on your phone to follow the forums.

On saturday, september 24th, the Philadelphia Ghostbusters participated in the Walk Now For Autism Speaks walk at Citizens Bank Park.
This year, their second time walking for this charity, the PGB raised over $2,500.00 towards autism research, and had fun doing it.

Franchise: Arizona Ghostbusters meeting Mr. Dan Aykroyd! [UPDATED]
On Saturday, September 10th, 2011, the Arizona Ghostbusters set up a booth to host raffles for the Multiple Sclerosis Society at a Dan Aykroyd Crystal Head Vodka signing at the local Bevmo. We were invited to set up our Ecto and booth at the event by BevMo and the vodka distributor. Folks were lined up before we even got there to set up. The line went all the way around the building and down the back of the strip mall. We set our Ecto and booth up next to the front door and the head of the local Multiple Sclerosis Society set up her table at our tent as well. When Dan showed up he made a beeline out of his RV to our Ecto and did a walk around giving it his seal of approval and then talked to be about how he remembered us from 3 years ago, still has the hat we gave him and wanted our contact info again. Then he went to the booth and autographed all of the items we were raffling off for the MS Society. He even unknowingly autographed items we just use for display at the booth. He signed bottles long after the event was supposed to be over to make sure everyone got in. In the three hours we were there we collected $600.00 for the MS Society.
