GB3: Murray on GB3 "Well, it's a possibility..."

http://ghostbustersiii.blogspot.it "WGN sports anchor guy Pat Tomasulo talked Cubbies with Murray, having a very lively conversation while slowly working his way to the unavoidable Ghostbusters 3 question:
"I heard you mention some of the movies you were working on, I think some people out there were interested in Ghostbusters 3, if that is a possibility, and if you'll be involved with that?"
Off the cuff, Murray answered with a non-committal "Well, it's a possibility..." before immediately changing the subject, pointing out that he has a very funny movie with Wes Anderson on the way this Summer."

Interview with legendary Ghostbusters Calendars

Interview with co-creater of the calendar - Mike Sopronyi

How did Ghostbusters Calendars?
The idea of the Sexy Ghostbusters Calendar started around 2007 when the producers of "Ghostbusters: Spook University" were waiting for the effects to completed.. While working at a Halloween store, I saw the Sexy GB costume for the first time and thought of a pin up style calendar. Getting some of the actress from "Spook University and some friends that were local models to start off the calendar. Since then, the ladies that have appeared in the calendar have been a combonation of other local models, fans of the calendar, cosplayers and actresses!

Who are the members?
Our most active memebers are Amanda C., Ilene & Nezzie
Plans are in th works with Izzie, Erkisa, Jessie and some new ladies for 2013

The props are made by you?
The props were put together by John Hibbard (The Real Ohio Ghostbusters) as well with the new Matty Collector PKE & Ghost Trap

For years, collaborating with GBNews. How did this collaboration?
The collaboration with GhostbustersNews.com started in early 2010, talks begain with GBNews in late 2009 of hosting the calendar

Ghostbusters Calendars do a lot of charity events. Tell us about this and your experience.
The Real Ohio Ghosbusters along with the Sexy Ghostbusters Calendar have teamed up on several events since 2009 raising over $3,000, which 100% of all money raised goes to charity! We've helped out, "March of Dimes", "The Red Cross", "Susan G. Komen For The Cure", "Bark Ark Bully Rescue", Cincinnati Freestorre Foodbank", just to name a few.. Celebrate 5 years. Do something special for 2012?
Since the Sexy GB Calendar turned 5, we wanted to do something a little different of having 24 of everyone's favorite ladies return for a "BEST OF" edition.. A panel of different Ghostbuster fanchise members, photographers who assisted with the calendar, cosplay models and an actor/voice over, (who will remain anonymous, that lended his voice talents in another movie franchise video game last year) voted on who would appear in the 2012 calendar..

Plans for the future?

Comics: Ectoplasmic Coloring: Interview with Luis Antonio Delgado, by GBMx by Jorge Tovalin

from left to right, Jorge Tovalin (interviewer),
Luis Antonio Delgado, Elizabeth Gil and Alfredo SBG.
A few weeks ago, due to the release of the new upcoming Ghostbusters comics by IDW, Luis Antonio Delgado (colors) kindly granted this interview.

Jorge Tovalin: Sometimes the coloring work on the comics aren't that recognized, what do you think about it?

Luis Antonio Delgado: It's understandable. Once I read an interview on ComicBookResources.com about a colorist who says our job is like the music on a movie. The movie can make it without the music, but this one helps to climate the environment and sometimes it's even so important like in Jaws and Psicosis. That's our job.

JT: How did you got into the comic industry?

LAD: It's a funny story. I was studying graphic design at the University, and one day my dad found and wrote down a phone number of a Animation School he saw on an ad. He gave it to me and never mind it. When I finished my studies, my dad asked me to give a call to that school, not very interested, I did, and found out the school was closed to business, but they gave me the phone number of the teacher.

The teacher was Raúl Cruz (a.k.a. Racrufi), famous artist. Talked with him and he invited me to his workshop. He got interested on my portfolios and granted to give me lessons twice days a week. There I learned to use watercolors, acrylics, and time later started to work with digital coloring.

I never was a color artist, only used graphites and inks. Never liked watercolors or color pencils, used only Illustrator to give color to my work. But Raúl teached me everything.

Ghostbusters: Interview at Michael C. Gross 2002

Ghostbusters Mania found in the secret archives of Internet interview with the legendary Michael Gross in 2002. Made from the first Italian fans.

G.I. Michael C. Gross, producer of the two movies, in exclusive on G.I. (first italian website 2002)! Ray would say "That's great!", Peter "We begin the interview!", I say "Thanks Micheal!". I have many questions for you, the first is: what is remained in your heart of the Ghostbusters?

M.G. Most of all Ghostbusters was FUN. It's hard work to make movies...a lot of stress. This picture was very difficult....we had to build a special effects production facility from scratch....do the movie in almost ONE HALF the time an effects picture takes....and Ivan and I had never made an effects picture before. But through all that it was FUN....the most I've ever had making movies.

The logo designed by Michael Gross

G.I. You have realized a logo, a symbol from all imitated, loved from the fans around the world! The most famous "No-Ghost". You can tell me the backstage on the working to beautifulst and loved logo?

M.G. I designed the no ghost logo, I then designed it...hired artists...finally used Brent Boats to draw the ghost at Boss films where the effects were being done. (Ivan now owns the original drawing...I gave it to him framed). The "no-ghost" logo was in the script as part of Danny's description of the sign on their "office" and the uniforms, car, etc. A note: the symbol is different in the States and Europe. That "no" sign was not widely used in the U.S. Yet, so I flopped it in a version that had type in it...we dropped the type but kept it "flopped". In Europe where the signs have been used for years it was felt inappropriate to flop it...so it appears two ways.
